My strongest projects started from messy real-world workflows: restaurant payroll calculations, NFC-to-review customer journeys, and research pipelines with freshness and bias constraints.

A production restaurant payroll tool that turns lunch and dinner tip records into auditable role-based settlements and Google Sheets payroll exports.

  • Models real tip-allocation rules for captains, servers, front desk, food runners, and bus staff.
  • Supports two-week pay periods, lunch and dinner totals, unallocated tips, and daily manager notes.
  • Replaced manual spreadsheet work with validated calculations, sync checks, and a public showcase branch.

A deployed equity research MVP combining factor-based stock ranking, portfolio diagnostics, and benchmark-relative backtesting against SPY and QQQ.

  • Builds data pipelines for prices, SEC fundamentals, macro data, and factor snapshots.
